My Dad
Author: Joey Koot
If I ever had a question
I'd call my Dad
If I ever needed help
I'd ask my Dad
When I wanted to play baseball
I asked my Dad
When I bought my first bat and glove
It was with my Dad
When I wanted to learn to drive
I asked my Dad
He got me my first and only job
That was my Dad
When I got in trouble at school
There was my Dad
When I had my first party
It was ok with my Dad
When I wanted to watch wrestling
It was with my Dad
When my friends came over, they'd ask
Joey, where's your Dad?
I'll cry a hundred times this week
It will be for my Dad
My Dad was a great man
I loved him more than he will ever know
He was always there for me
I'll never forget him as long as I live
He was my Dad.
